Pure White Hell

                                                         Dexter watching the snow :)

Well, group was cancelled today due to the weather.  We actually havent gotten too much snow this year which is unusual.  Ive been trying not to be too happy about that, being that its pretty much proof of global warming (and thats scary), but like I said yesterday, I fucking hate this shit.  Anyways, its been coming down hard, all day, continuously, and Becky (DBT Centers of Michigan) called and left a message saying that group was going to be cancelled.  So, I spent last night in a state of panic for no real reason at all, and now I get to do it all over again next week, yay, go me.  In a way Im glad it was cancelled.  Obviously I was extremely anxious, and this way I got to work out 5 days this week (thought I was only going to get in 4), but I was so panicky about it last night I didnt sleep well.  It wouldve been better to just get it over with, so that next week wouldnt be as hard, oh well.  Im depressed.  I hate snow.  I hate cold.  I want to hibernate.

We haven’t gotten much snow either. But today was that messy snow. It’s gross. Haha! I’m glad to know I’m not the only one feeling the pain from this damn snow.

It’s not so bad here, just a sprinkle so far this year – but I am still right there with you, I hate it too. no wonder I am worse in winter than in summer – I think I need the sun and warmth to help me be well!

It totally does. Surveys show that the highest rates of depression and suicides in the states are up in these northern states. Sun really makes a difference. Im taking a vitamin D supplement to try and offset our lack of sun, but Im not sure if its helping or not.
